Texas Tech Reminds Fans of Policy Changes for Football Games
Texas Tech has released a statement with a small reminder for fans all over Raiderland about new bag polices that are being implemented this season.
All bags must be clear. This includes large purses, ladies.
"One gallon zip-lock bag if you want but just no bags that aren't clear can come into any of our venues from now on," Texas Tech Senior Associate Athletics Director Robert Giovannetti said.
Luckily, season ticket holders and Red Raider Club members were given a free bag. The maximum clear bag you can bring in are twelve by six inch bags.
This change has been made to allow lines to move more quickly, but it's also a safety precaution.
Medical bags are allowed inside The Jones, but they'll have to be checked at the gate.
On the bright side, Texas Tech has released a new app that will make buying tickets fast and easy.
