Emergency Crews Called to Texas Tech Chemistry Building After Explosion

Multiple sources are reporting a possible explosion inside Texas Tech's chemistry building Monday afternoon.

A UMC Emergency Unit also responded to the incident. At least four students were placed into ambulances.

One Texas Tech student on campus at the time of the incident contacted KFYO directly and said the school was evacuating nearby classes due to the explosion in the chemistry building.
