Texas Tech dominates Kansas (Feb. 23rd, 2019)

The Texas Tech Red Raiders took the Jayhawks to town and back.

The Red Raiders scored first and never looked back, as they absolutely ransacked Kansas by 29 points. Final score: 91-62.

Jarrett Culver dropped 26 points, but it was Norense Odiase who was the star of the game. The big man had 8 points and 13 boards, all while playing physical defense on the Jayhawks, limiting their presence in the paint all night long. Dedric Lawson, Kansas' best player, was held to just 14 points, largely due to Odiase's pounding defense.

It wasn't only Texas Tech's defense that had it going; the offense was also dominant. The Red Raiders shot better than 60 percent from the field and from beyond the three point line. All of this dominating was cause for some celebration after the game:

The Red Raiders are now on an absolute tear after winning their fifth Big 12 game in a row, and their third Big 12 game at home by more than 25. They have just four regular season games remaining: two at home in Lubbock, and one on the road before finishing the season at Iowa State.
