All it took was four weeks into the season for Texas Tech men's basketball coach Chris Beard to have his team back inside the AP Top 25 rankings. The Red Raiders are ranked #20 in the nation after the new rankings were released Monday morning.

It is definitley good to be back, but to be fair, you probably shouldn't of left in the first place. However that seems to be bulletin board material for Beard as he and the Red Raiders have gotten off to a hot start and are currently 6-0 on the season.

Sophomore Jarrett Culver seems to be settling into his role as the star of the team, he currently leads the team in points per game (18.8) and assists per game (4.3). Matt "Cash" Mooney has been starting to heat up as of late, going for 17 against USC and 15 against Nebraska in the Hall of Fame Classic.

Up next for the Red Raiders will be a matchup with the Memphis Tigers (3-3) on December 1st at 1:30 p.m. CT from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. Then after that, a return to United Supermarkets Arena against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on December 5th.
