Secondly, her next single, which drops at midnight (June 14), is called "You Need to Calm Down." The music video will be released on Good Morning America on June 17, but don't worry because it'll be uploaded on YouTube right after.
Thirdly, the album will have 18 tracks and Swift said the tone is very romantic.
“This album, in tone, it’s very romantic,” she said. “Not just simply thematically, like it’s all love songs or something. The idea of something being romantic, it doesn’t have to be a happy song. You can find romance in loneliness or sadness or going through things in your life… it just looks at those things through a romantic gaze.”
“In the 'Me!' music video there were a lot of foreshadowing clues,” the performer also admitted, adding that she's beyond impressed with her fans' dedication in finding all her hidden Easter Eggs.
Taylor Swift also confirmed there will be four deluxe editions of the album, which will be available at Target, and that the album features a collaboration with Stella McCartney. Click here to purchase Taylor Swift concert tickets.
On June 12th, Swift took to social media to let her fans who she had an announcement to make. "Just filling you in on some stuff and thing and, you know, I hope you're free tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET on the Instagram," she teased.
Though she didn't say what, many fans immediately assumed her announcement must have something to do with her upcoming new album or possible collab with Katy Perry. It turns out they were right about the album details.
