A small controversy erupted after the Thursday episode of X Factor when viewers noticed that contestant Leroy Bell was lip-synching. It happened at the beginning of the show when all the contestants were doing a group performance of the David Guetta and Usher song "Without You". It was fairly obvious the vocal track started before Leroy opened his mouth.

Former Pussycat Doll, and current X-Factor judge, Nicole Scherzinger was on the Conan O'Brien show the other night. She had more to show off than her new tv gig.

He's baaaack! This week, Fox released a brand-new teaser for its upcoming reality-competition series 'The X Factor,' which will mark the official return to American television for Simon Cowell. The former 'American Idol' judge, who is re-teaming with his fellow 'Idol' expat, Paula Abdul, promises an epic show, one that is open to "anyone who can sing."

Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie is reportedly up for a spot on Fox's hotly anticipated reality show 'The X Factor,' Simon Cowell confirmed to reporters this week. Among the other contenders are Gloria Estefan, who reportedly "turned up unexpectedly" to mentor 'X Factor' hopefuls in Miami, Jessica Simpson, Mariah Carey and Paula Abdul.
