High winds have long been a staple of West Texas, but lately, they seem more frequent and intense in Midland-Odessa. With gusts reaching up to 75 mph, locals take it in stride—yet the question remains: Is this the new normal?
It is so windy in Lubbock that you have to hold your skirt down while outside or else you’ll be having an unwanted Marilyn moment and flashing everyone nearby.
