Now that school is starting back up in Lubbock, the college kids are returning and making the Hub City their home once again.

Well, there is a big update that was announced on July 11, 2024, and it is already seeing differing opinions. Texas Tech University has made a big change by updating their branding with a new word mark that pairs with the iconic Double T.

After seeing what was worn this year, it had me wondering what sort of outfits we might see if there were a Met Gala themed after the Hub City, Lubbock, Texas.

From career specific memorabilia, Texas Tech themed décor, jewelry, clothing, and more, Etsy is a great hub for anything a Red Raider might like.

TTU has approximately 21,000 employees with over 63,000 students. They have academic locations in Lubbock, Amarillo, Brownwood, DFW, El Paso, Forney, Fredricksburg, Jefferson, Junction, Marble Falls, Waco, San Jose (Costa Rica), and Seville (Spain).

Most homes are built with pools in Lubbock, so that is not a very common option, so you are left with hoping you know someone that has a pool, or simply going without. At least that was the case until the website Swimply.
