Run-DMC is finally getting their Grammy recognition. Run, DMC and the late Jam Master Jay will be the first hip-hop act to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy.

Queen Latifah brought Christmas cheer to her daytime talk show on Thursday (Dec. 19) with a special rendition of Run-DMC’s classic holiday song 'Christmas in Hollis' with none other than Darryl "DMC" McDaniels.

This has been a Christmas classic since it was released in 1987! It was actually featured on 2 Christmas compilations that year, "A Very Special Christmas", and "Christmas Rap". It actually charted in 2000, 13 years after it's initial release...
