Missy Elliott is having a misdemeanor of her own. The Grammy Award-winning rapper was hit with a $75,000 lawsuit this week for allegedly missing a Brazilian TV appearance and two concerts.
A little known fact about Sunday's (Feb. 1) halftime show is that Katy Perry didn't get paid for her performance. It's very likely Missy Elliott didn't either, but that doesn't look like too big of an issue. The rapper definitely benefited from the exposure, which is turning into big bucks for her.
Super Bowl halftime shows usually include a few surprise guests. Remember when Bruno Mars brought Red Hot Chili Peppers to the stage last year? This year seems to be no different as Missy Elliott is reportedly making a special appearance during Katy Perry's set on Sunday (Feb. 2).
