It's almost that time of year where on a single Spring day the air around Lubbock smells of tart citrus. It's almost Lemonade Day.

A ribbon cutting will take place Wednesday, March 20, at 4:30 p.m. at the J.T. Margaret Talkington YWCA at Sun N’ Fun Aquatics, located at 6204 Elgin Avenue.

It was fun going around to MANY different booths and seeing what the kids were doing for Lemonade day!

United Supermarkets in Lubbock will host their annual Big Squeeze event, where children will learn the basics of running a lemonade stand.

It’s that time again, Lubbock Lemonade Day 2017! The event this year will be held on Saturday, May 6th throughout the city! This year’s ribbon cutting will be March 30th at First United Bank at 4th and Frankford Ave. In addition, kids will be able to take out small business loans to get their business off the ground...

The city of Lubbock will be decorated in lemonade stands for one day in efforts to reach a goal of 4,000 youth registered to participate this year.
