With a Hennessy bottle in his hand, Nas celebrated the 20th anniversary of 'Illmatic' at the Coachella music festival on Saturday (April 19). During his second-week set, the New York rhymer was joined by none other than the incomparable Lauryn Hill.

Lauryn Hill makes a rare television appearance and we are grateful for it. The rapper-singer performed the Beatles classic 'Something' on Late Night with David Letterman in honor of the group’s U.S. television debut on 'The Ed Sullivan Show' 50 years ago.

'Consumerism' and 'Neurotic Society' haven't been met with positive reviews, but that doesn't take away from 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill''s legacy. So it's quite understandable that the crowd got excited when Ms. Hill decided to segue into 'Final Hour' from her stunning debut album.

The two songs Lauryn Hill released this year -- 'Neurotic Society (Compulsory Mix)' and 'Consumerism' -- have been met with a lukewarm response. The ill feelings are directed toward the overly esoteric nature of the lyrics, which has sometimes been described as gibberish. Her rapid delivery didn't help much either.
