Hastings stores across the country have cut prices further as part of the company's Going Out of Business sale.

Due to the company's ongoing liquidation process, all Hastings Hardback Cafes are set to permanently close after this Saturday, August 6.

Days after two companies purchased Hastings, the bankrupt Amarillo-based retailer has announced its going out of business sale.

It's official: Amarillo-based retailer Hastings will be liquidated and all 126 of its stores will shutter by October 31, 2016.

The fate of Hastings is up in the air, but could be decided by week's end. Two companies have expressed interest in the Amarillo-based retailer.
