Pandemic funding from the federal government expired on June 30th meaning all schools involved in the National School Lunch Program are affected.

In a regular meeting by the High Plains Underground Water Conservation District Board of Directors on Tuesday, June 8th, over $350,000 was approved in funding for water-related research and education projects.

The unemployment rate continues to decline in Texas, but the unemployed are still struggling. That could soon change though, with Gov. Abbott applying for federal funding.
