I understand that everybody remembers in their own way. And there were a ton of tributes to the Beastie Boys and MCA after his untimely death Friday. But not this way.
Coldplay recently did a stint for the BBC where for some reason they did a Coldplay version of Rihanna's "We Found Love". I love the new Rihanna and think the only way to make it better is to make it longer. That's why I listen to the extended version, because it's longer.

Released at 6 AM this morning is the brand new Coldplay "Paradise." It's on their latest album Mylo Xyloto, whatever that means. So far, I'm rather unimpressed. It sounds like all the other Coldplay songs you know, which isn't a bad thing. However, it just doesn't have that punch you want or expect from the guys.
This is, as far as I know, a fairly new band. They come out of the UK, where they've already had pretty massive success. The single is two times platinum. They've sold over 500,000 records across the pond. Will it be good enough to break in America? This song starts with a very Coldplay like sound, but it morphs into a really dancy track. The other day MTV released their top 5 songs for the summer of 2011. Not to be outdone, Rolling Stone has released their top 10. Some of the same songs appear on both list, but this time you see it being a little more diverse.
