The volunteer fire departments of Woodrow and Buffalo Springs Lake both responded Saturday to an RV on fire near a county road southeast of Lubbock.

At around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, August 27th, a notice came in saying residents around Buffalo Springs Lake were under a boil water notice.

According to a source at the scene, all of the fireworks at the Buffalo Springs Lake Fireworks Show exploded at the same time, just before 10pm on Friday night. So far, no reports of any injuries.

The fireworks show will start between 9 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5th. Those planning to attend are encouraged to arrive one to two hours before then.
