Suspect in Deadly Library Shooting Indicted on Over 30 Charges
On Friday, indictments were handed down by a Curry County Grand Jury against the alleged shooter in a deadly shooting at a Clovis, New Mexico library.
Sixteen-year-old Nathaniel Ray Jouett (pictured) is being tried as an adult. He was indicted on two counts of First Degree Murder, seven counts of Child Abuse, four counts of Aggravated Battery and 20 counts of Assault with Intent to Commit a Violent Felony.
The mass shooting occurred on August 28 at the Clovis Carver Public Library, where two women were killed and four others shot and wounded. The women killed, 61-year-old Wanda Walters and 48-year-old Kristina Carter, were employees of the library.
