Suspect Arrested for String of Robberies Along 34th Street
Lubbock Police have made an arrest in connection to four robberies that occurred along 34th Street over the last week.
Twenty-year-old Andrew Pinkins was arrested at a home in the 4300 block of 31st Street, not far from the Subway that was robbed.
The robberies in question:
- March 30th, 9 p.m. -- Family Dollar, located at 4426 34th Street
- March 31st, 11:20 p.m. --- E-Z Mart, located at 4426 34th Street
- April 5th, 1 a.m. -- 7-11, located at 3802 34th Street
- April 5th, 9:30 p.m. -- Subway, located at 4923 34th Street
Lubbock police determined that all four robberies were committed by the same person because they were all located in the same area. After the most recent robbery at Subway, police quickly responded and located the suspect’s vehicle.
Pinkins has been booked into the Lubbock County Jail on four counts of robbery, and two counts of speeding.
