[UPDATE] Texas DPS Release Names of Three Stormchasers Killed in Wreck Near Spur, Texas

[Update] The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed all three individuals who died in the two-vehicle wreck near Spur were stormchasers.

DPS released the names of the three victims:

• Kelley Gene Williamson (57) of Cassville, Mo.
• Randall Delane Yarnall (55) of Cassville, Mo.
• Corbin Lee Jaeger (25) of Peoria, Arizona

[Original Story] Sadly, three individuals were killed in a wreck near Spur, Texas. Two of the individuals are believed to be storm chasers according to Twitter reports from other chasers.

According to EverythingLubbock.com:

The location was either in or very close to an area under a tornado warning.  That warning later expired and it’s not confirmed that the crash was weather-related. Weather spotters said on Twitter that it involved a crew tracking a storm in Dickens County.

The names of the individuals involved have not been released at this time.
