Sentencing Date Set for Former Lubbock Dentist Who Produced Child Pornography
A sentencing date has been set for former well-known Lubbock Dentist Jason Paul White.
The 42 year-old pleaded guilty in September to production of child pornography after being charged with 16 counts relating to child pornography.
White was arrested in January after a search of his home and business revealed a Dropbox account where all the videos were stored. White was indicted the following month by a grand jury in Lubbock. Then, in August, additional indictments were filed, alleging multiple child pornography and enticement crimes against several victims.
White admitted to the court that he illegally filmed seven victims over a 15-year period. Some of the victims were as young as 13. In one case, White coerced a 17-year-old boy into recording sexually explicit content, producing several videos over the course of a year.
In addition to serving prison time, White is required to forfeit his interests in his home in Lubbock in the 4400 block of 10th Street as well as a 966-acre ranch in Garza County where those crimes took place. He will also have to register as a sex offender and will have supervised release.
White will be sentenced on January 6th, 2022, facing a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years.
