See Patrick Mahomes’ First Action at Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp
The Kansas City Chiefs have reported to training camp and Patrick Mahomes is looking pretty fly in yellow and red. His first full team activity already has him looking like a star.
Just look at the swagger:
Here he is speaking with the media during his first day at training camp. There's no freshman protection like there is at Texas Tech.
Mahomes expertly navigating some treacherous waters discussing the changing of the guard in the Kansas City Chiefs front office.
Here's a video of Patrick Mahomes watching Alex Smith throw a ball and then presumably throwing a better ball. (That second part is just a guess.)
Here was my reaction watching that video: "This is exciting being able to see Patrick on his first day at training cam... HOLY CRAP, THAT'S MICHAEL VICK STANDING BESIDE PATRICK MAHOMES AS A SPECIAL COACHING INTERN. PATRICK IS GOING TO LEARN FROM MICHAEL VICK."
Yes, that Michael Vick.
The Michael Vick who revolutionized the quarterback position before going to prison, then rehabilitating himself and getting back into the league.
A player that can give Mahomes pointers on how to control his immense athleticism and monster arm.
Kansas City keeps getting better for Patrick Mahomes.
