Sad Day Again, “Where The Wild Things Are” Author, Maurice Sendak, Has Passed [VIDEO]

I grew up with the book "Where The Wild Things Are." I think somewhere I have one of the earlier print copies. It might still be at my parents house. Anyway when I heard that Maurice had died from complications from a stroke, it made for another sad day. Especially after MCA's passing last week.

One of the greatest interviews with Maurice happened really recently. It was with Stephen Colbert for The Colbert Report, and it truly showed Maurice and his personality the way he really was. Here's that interview.

Coincidentally enough, Colbert was on the "Live With Kelly" show the other day to promote the book that he made up for this interview. It's actually getting published, and its a fitting tribute.
