Rihanna More Popular Than Lady Gaga on Facebook, Little Monsters Plan to Take Back the Title

Until Thursday afternoon, Facebook’s reining most-popular woman was Lady Gaga. But no more.

Meet your new queen: Rihanna.

As of this Friday, her page has now been “liked” 40,611,837 times, compared to Gaga‘s 40,573,980. So upset are the ‘Born This Way’ singer’s little monsters that they’ve taken to Twitter and asked their followers to unlike Rihanna’s page.

Perhaps they can take some consolation that Gaga still rules in the Twitter land of 140 characters or less, where she has about twice as many followers as Rihanna.

But when it comes to Facebook, neither lady can hold a candle to the overall champ, rapper Eminem, who currently has 43,315,861 “likes.”
