
Has There Been Too Much Press Coverage of the Upcoming Presidential Election? — Survey of the Day
Had enough of Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain and Barack Obama?
According to a new survey from Poll Position, a good chunk of Americans, representing all political stripes, think there has been too much press coverage of this elongated election season.
Forty-two percent of 1,094 registered voters polled answered that there has been too much election coverage, 26 percent said there has been the right amount, 20 percent said too little and 12 percent offered no opinion.
Among Independents, 46 percent said too much, 26 percent said just right and 15 percent answered too little. Among Democrats, it was 44 percent too much, 27 percent just right, and 21 percent too little. Republicans had it 36 percent too much, 26 percent just right and 24 percent too little.
