Lubbock Police Trying to Seize $245,000 From Wells Fargo After Man Placed a Deposit On a Tesla
Lubbock police and local prosecutors are trying to seize almost one-quarter of a million dollars from a Lubbock man who placed a deposit on a luxury vehicle.
Thirty-year-old Adebayo Isola (pictured above in 2016) had placed a $245,000 deposit on a Tesla, and authorities are now trying to seize the money from Wells Fargo.
An affidavit was written that states a woman reported that she had been kidnapped by Isola and held in a Lubbock hotel. The woman told police that she had escaped and that Isola had her cell phone. Police used it to track Isola to Clovis, where he was arrested.
Court records state Isola was held on bond on several charges including; Trafficking of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Stolen Property, and Fugitive from Justice.
