Pink to Star in New Movie ‘Thanks for Sharing’

While Pink isn’t a total stranger to acting — she’s done cameos in films like ‘Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle’ and ‘Catacombs’ — the pop star is about to add “leading lady” to her resume.

The ‘Raise Your Glass’ singer will play a sex addict named Dede in the upcoming movie ‘Thanks for Sharing,’ where she’ll appear alongside thespian heavyweights and Oscar-bait like Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins.

But if anyone doubts her ability to hold her own in that kind of company, it certainly isn’t the film’s writer-director Stuart Blumberg.

In a statement, he said, “[Pink] could not be a more ideal fit for this role. She carries with her just the right combination of heart and edginess for the part of Dede, and we’re incredibly excited to share her acting talent with audiences.”
