Phishing Scam Featuring Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s Name Circulating the Web

The Texas Attorney General’s Office is warning Texans about a malicious email featuring Attorney General Ken Paxton’s name.

The message allegedly contains logos distinctive to U.S. district courts and may contain the subject line, 'FINAL NOTICE.' The phishing email warns the recipient of pending legal actions and demands payment and personal information.

The Attorney General’s Office warns any recipients to not respond in any manner.
