Good genes are in the DNA for the Bryan Mudd family. Mudd's son Peyton was cast as the lead in the pilot for Phantom Nights, which is set and shot at Lubbock, Texas' Stars & Stripes Drive-In Theatre.

The pilot was written and directed by Damon O'Steen. It will be executive produced and distributed by Los Angeles-based New Form Production Company, which is backed by legendary director Ron Howard and producer Brian Glazer.

O'Steen has released the pilot for the project, which features Peyton Mudd. You can watch it above.
