Pet Adoption Day With Ashley Furniture Homestore Was Huge Success [PICS]

This past weekend we held our first ever Pet Adoption Day with our friends at Ashley Furniture and the turn out was awesome. 19 rescued, abused and abandoned animals were adopted and given a brand new family and home. That's 1 animal every 1/2 hour! Thanks so much to everyone that came by and donated a dollar or two or took a pet home with them. We had tons of local rescue organizations and shelters attend and bring animals. We are going to try and make this an annual event but remember that pets need homes every day in the 806 not just once a year.

By the way Ashley Furniture donated $50 for each pet we adopted to local shelters and rescues. That's $950.00 total for the day. Thanks Ashley!
