The reigning NFL MVP joined The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to chat with the late night host about his first season as an NFL starter, Tom Brady and a few other things. There was no mention of his Muppet voice or affection of ketchup.

Of course, Fallon had to tell Mahomes that he had Texas Tech in his NCAA Tournament bracket's Final Four. But Mahomes did razz him for not picking them to win the whole thing.

The short segment had one goal, and that goal was to announce Mahomes' new foundation. And boy, does it have the perfect name.

15 and the Mahomies will be centered around kids who haven't been afforded the luxuries that Mahomes grew up with.

The mission statement on the new 15andthemahomies.org website reads: "15 and the Mahomies is dedicated to improving the lives of children. The Foundation will support initiatives that focus on health, wellness, communities in need of resources and other charitable causes."

The website, which you can find here, has more information on the programs and events the foundation will be responsible for.

If you want to learn more about the foundation and what Patrick Mahomes is striving to do, the website has all the pertinent information. There's also a place where you can donate to the foundation.

You can also follow 15 and the Mahomies on all of the social media platforms, including FacebookInstagram and Twitter.

If you do want to donate to the foundation, the requested amount is a very appropriate $15.

As a Lubbock native and Red Raider, it's been a great ride to watch Patrick Mahomes grow into a national phenomenon that has garnered a ton of attention in the last year. It's great to watch him take that attention off of himself and direct it back into the youth.

Good job, Patrick. Keep making us proud.
