Lubbock is already familiar with Patrick Mahomes'...unique voice. But Kansas City Chiefs fans are just getting used to it. This adjustment period led one fan to create what's bar-none the best Patrick Mahomes impersonation we've seen yet.

Shane Stevens showed off an impersonation of the former Texas Tech quarterback that really captures the essence of Patrick Mahomes. It's not played for laughs so much as accuracy.

The most shocking thing about this clip isn't how spot-on Shane's impersonation of Mahomes is; it's how few Retweets and Likes it has. Especially considering that beloved comedian and impersonator Frank Caliendo approved of the impersonation.

The former MADtv star and world-famous John Madden impersonator was asked for his thoughts on the impersonation, and was frank blunt:

Mahomes has enjoyed a successful 2018 season so far.

Just before celebrating his 23rd birthday, the gunslinger led the Chiefs to their 2nd win of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a record-breaking performance. Mahomes threw for 6 touchdowns in that game, adding to his previous four in week 1 against the Chargers. These 10 touchdown passes snapped Peyton Manning's record for most touchdowns thrown in a two-game span to start the season. Perhaps most impressive: these two games were Mahomes' second and thirds starts in the NFL.
