Patrick Mahomes Gets Iced Out 99 Chain For his Madden Rating

Patrick Mahomes has had one heck of an offseason. He won a Super Bowl, partied on the parade, kept partying, spent time on the water, did some internet challenges, signed an extension worth up to half a billion dollars. He's doing alright.

It only got better this week after Madden announced he's still in the 99 club for the second straight season. It's no surprise really, he's the best QB in the NFL, but this year with the announcement he also got an awesome iced out "99" pendant.

If you check out the neck thereafter his teammate and favorite target Travis Kelce hands him the 99 club box, it seems like Mahomes has spent some of that 10 million dollar signing bonus on some new jewelry. Now he can add that 99 chain, and he's the only QB to claim that in Madden 21.

Mahomes is joined by Rusell Wilson as the only two quarterbacks over 95 overall. Followed by Lamar Jackson, Drew Brees and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks in the 90s. Tom Brady enjoys his 18th straight season as a 90 or above.

A lot of people were complaining that Aaron Rodgers was being disrespected here, but he's properly rated in my opinion. He's taken zero risks in the last three seasons and his teams have reflected that. You have to risk it to get the biscuit.
