Conrad Murry received the Maximum sentence four years in prison for administering a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol to Michael Jackson in June of 2009. Here is what the Judge had to say:

In announcing his sentence yesterday, the judge said ,quote, "[Murray] violated the trust of the medical community, of his colleagues and of his patient.
"And he has absolutely no sense of remorse, absolutely no sense of fault, and is and remains dangerous." He added that Murray was, quote, "involved in a cycle of horrible medicine [and] engaged in a recurring continuous pattern of deceit, of lies" and that he "engaged in this money for medicine madness that simply is not going to be tolerated by me." Prosecutors also want Murray to pay $100 MILLION in restitution which is supposedly the amount of money Michael would have earned if he'd completed the series of concerts he was rehearsing for when he died. A hearing on that was put off for another day.
