Exclusive: Surveillance Footage of Burglary at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Lubbock
Video of a recent break-in at local business Nothing Bundt Cakes shows a man forcing his way into the store in the dead of night.
The owner of Nothing Bundt Cakes provided the above surveillance footage exclusively to KFYO News/Townsquare Media Lubbock. The burglary occurred Thursday, September 15, 2016 just after midnight.
In the beginning of the clip (which we've edited down for time), you can see a man bust through the bottom glass of the front door with what appears to be a hammer and enter the store.
He makes a bee line to the door leading to the back of the business and leaves the camera's view. The suspect emerges moments later, rifles through a drawer and pulls out a tray. Then, he returns to the back room.
After leaving the back room again, he glances up at the security camera. At the 32-second mark in the video above, we've freeze-framed that moment and zoomed in.
