There are a few things you can do at Lubbock's Preston Smith International Airport. The first and most obvious thing you can do is get on a plane and travel somewhere, though most likely you will have at least one layover. The second thing you can do at the airport, is rent a car. And finally, you can pick people up, like friends and relatives at the airport.

That's about it. There isn't much else people can do at the airport in Lubbock. One thing you can be fairly certain about when it comes to the airport here in Lubbock is that they are not selling or shipping dogs.

According to a press release from the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, a scam is going around involving online pet sales and transportation. The scam uses the Lubbock airport's address to make it all look legit when it's not. According to KAMC, officials are warning citizens that if the deal seems to good to be true, it probably is.

The business, which offers deals on pets “well below market value” has operated under names such as “EasyPetTransport.com,” “englishcockerspaniels.com” and “Deluxeschnauser.com,” the airport’s police department said.

The city wanted citizens to be aware that LBB does not have an animal/pet locator or shipper and that any website that seems “too good to be true” likely is.

Any with questions was told to contact Captain Corey Nunley with the LBB Police Department at 806-775-3136, the press release said.t
