New Makeup Studio Opening in Lubbock Near Texas Tech

Okay, I'll be honest, I've never actually been in a Merle Norman in my life. But after looking through the website, I'm sure I'll visit their upcoming new location right across from Tech at 2400 Glenna Goodacre #105-B.

Apparently there's a to-do about it opening too, as reported by the Avalanche Journal:

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce plans to host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new store at 10 a.m. Feb. 17.

Dang. Who owns this? Merle Norman stores are independently owned franchises so he/she must be legit to get a ribbon cutting ceremony (or it could be its geographical location- so much was invested in the redevelopment of the Overton neighborhood).

Merle Norman carries everything a cosmetic line usually does from cosmetics to skin care. I really want to try the lip exfoliater- this dry weather has not been kind to my lips.
