MTV Will Film New Show, Savage University, on December 1st During Lubbock Concert [VIDEO]

MTV will be in Lubbock on December 1, filming for their new show, Savage University hosted by Dan Savage. Savage will be filming Texas Tech students and concert goers on December 1 at Wild West during the 2011 Taste of Country Christmas Tour with Brantley Gilbert.

Savage University will discuss sexuality among today’s youth and college students. Savage is the co-founder of the It Gets Better project. He’s also the author of the critically acclaimed sex column named “Savage Love.”

Savage and crew will be filming students, starting at 8 with doors at 7, at Wild West before the Brantley Gilbert Show that is hosted by our sister station, 99.5 The Bear.

Tickets for the event will be $15 at the door but tickets for the full day event are online now for just $12. Each person that buys a ticket for the event will asked for interviews for the show by MTV and will also be treated to a Miss Wild West contest and our big Taste of Country Christmas Tour with Brantley Gilbert.
