Mrs Baird’s Teacher on the Rise Program Returns for 2013-2014 School Year

News/Talk 790, KFYO; 102.5 KISS FM, United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos and the Texas Classroom Teachers Association have teamed up for another year of Mrs Baird's Teachers on the Rise program.

Each month during the 2013-14 school year, three South Plains teachers will receive Mrs Baird's Teachers on the Rise award. One award will go to an elementary school teacher, the second to a middle school teacher and the final award to a high school teacher.

Students, with parental help, can nominate their teachers for the Teacher on the Ride award at MrsBTeacher.com.  

Students that nominate a winning teacher will receive a $50 VISA Gift Card.  Winning teachers will receive a prize package worth at least $200.

All winning teachers will be honored at the end of the 2013-14 school year with a luncheon.
