Movies You WILL See in 2013 [VIDEO]
We had some awesome movies released in 2013 and it looks like 2013 will be another stellar year at the box office. Let's take a sneak peek at some of the titles scheduled to be in theaters for 2013.
Twelve Years a Slave: The film, based on the autobiography of the same name by Solomon Northup, Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Northup, a free black man who was living in New York in the 1840s when he was duped into taking a job in Washington, D.C. only to be kidnapped and forced into manual labor on a Louisiana plantation. Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Adepero Oduye and Paul Dano round out the stellar ensemble.
Silence: martin Scorsese takes on the epic and Daniel Day Lewis will play the lead. Here's the synopsis: Young Portuguese Jesuit, Sebastião Rodrigues (based on the historical figure Giuseppe Chiara) is sent to Japan to succor the local Church and investigate reports that his mentor, Fr. Cristóvão Ferreira, has committed apostasy. (Ferreira is a historical figure, who apostatized after torture and later became a Zen Buddhist monk and wrote a treatise against Christianity.)
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug- The Dwarfs, Bilbo and Gandalf have successfully escaped the misty mountains, but Bilbo has gained the one ring. They all continue their journey to get their gold back off the Dragon, Smaug.
A Good Day to Die Hard: John McClane travels to Russia to help out his seemingly wayward son, Jack, only to discover that Jack is a CIA operative working to prevent a nuclear-weapons heist, causing the father and son to team up against underworld forces.
Man of Steel: The Superman story gets a new look. An alien infant is raised on Earth, and grows up with superhuman abilities. He sets out to use these abilities to guard his adopted world.
"Star Trek: Into the Darkness", "Iron Man 3", "The Hangover 3" and another "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Fast and Furious" movie as well wraps a look at the year to come in theaters.
