Modern Family Cast Stuck in Elevator (video)

It was a Friday night to remember for a few members of the Modern Family cast – they spent an hour of it trapped in an elevator.

Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were in town to headline a fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City when the elevator at their hotel stopped. "Stuck in an elevator for 35 mins," Ferguson Tweeted, sharing a video of the crowd of 15 being rescued by the local fire department.

The trio finally hit the stage at about 10 p.m. and closed with the line, "Have a great night – don't use the elevators!"  See the video of their rescue here
