Michael Vartan and Lauren Skaar Divorcing

Michael Vartan and wife Lauren Skaar are divorcing after three years of marriage. People reports that according to legal documents, the two had been separated since April 5.

They have no children together.

The site says that Skaar was the one who filed the papers, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Vartan and Skaar reportedly met while shopping at a Whole Foods in L.A. in 2009. The couple later married in 2011 at the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, Calif. He told People in 2010 that he felt Skaar was "The One." "It's a thing that people always say: 'When you know, you'll know.' I never really understood what that meant, and I do now," he told the magazine.

Vartan is best known for his role on TV's 'Alias' and was romantically linked to co-star Jennifer Garner for a year. He had a recurring role on 'Bates Motel' this year and will be seen in the upcoming horror-thriller movie, 'Crawlspace.'
