Alright, alright, alright...

Apparently, Matthew McConaughey is considering running for the governor of Texas. I think it's a mighty fine idea.

According to CNN Entertainment, McConaughey is still strongly considering a run for governor of Texas.

"I'm looking into now again, what is my leadership role," McConaughey told Rania Mankarious, the host of the podcast, The Balanced Voice. The actor went on to ponder what the next part of his life might be like, saying: "...I do have some things to teach and share, and what is my role? What's my category in my next chapter of life."

I don't know, guys. He already has my vote, but I'd vote for a brick wall over Greg Abbott, so it's not saying much.

A literal brick wall, guys.

Texas would be better off with fewer career politicians, anyway. McConaughey certainly wouldn't be in it for the money and perks. He's been on top of those things for decades thanks to his esteemed acting career. He also grew up in small-town Uvalde, Texas, and obviously has a huge heart for his home state.

Oh, and not to mention, he rescued animals that were stranded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He rescued kitties and puppies, guys.

Would Matthew McConaughey get your vote for governor of the great state of Texas, or is he better off not even trying? Does anybody else think he might be the Batman we need to save us from the crazy people in office? Or is it just me?
