Mark Adams Adds Another Transfer to the Red Raiders Mix
Mark Adams and Texas Tech have locked in another transfer commitment to join the Red Raiders for the 2022-23 season. De'Vion Harmon will join the D'Maurian Williams as the newest Red Raiders.
Harmon is a six-foot-two guard that averaged nearly 11 points per game last year at Oregon. Harmon spent just a single year at Oregon after playing for Lon Kruger in Oklahoma to start his career. Harmon started nearly 80 games between the two programs and has scored in double figures more than 50 times.
Harmon is already recruiting players to join him at Texas Tech. Hours after officially committing to the Red Raiders, he tweeted at another transfer portal star, Fardaws Aimaq hinting that Aimaq would be committing to the Red Raiders on Friday afternoon.
Texas Tech is in a good spot as far as the roster is concerned. Kevin McCullar announced on Wednesday, April 28th, that he'd be entering the transfer portal while he was preparing for the NBA draft. McCullar will have to make his NBA decision by June 13th, the deadline for upperclassmen prospects that wish to return to college basketball. McCullar has two seasons of eligibility.
If Clarence Nadolny or anyone else currently on the basketball roster want to test the portal they'll need to enter by the deadline of May 1st, in order to be able to transfer freely without a waiver or sitting out a season.
