In Lubbock to play at Caprock Winery Thursday night (Nov. 5) at 7 p.m., Texas musician Luke Wade stopped by the KISS FM studios to discuss life after "The Voice" and perform an acoustic song in our Live Acoustic Lounge.

The singer touched on what the biggest misconception about being on "The Voice" is.

"I think people think that if you're on TV, you're set for life, that you're taken care of," Wade said, adding: "You go, you get a great amount of exposure, you know, you're in front of 15 million people or so a week, and you get an opportunity to tell your story, show them who you are and make fans, but...they just release you into the wild."

According to Wade, most of the people who've appeared on "The Voice" are "still grinding."

Wade also shared some interesting stories about his time on "The Voice" and his thoughts on Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's newly revealed romance.

"Good on that guy, right," Wade said. "You gotta rebound. A little 'show-mance' rebound, or maybe it's something real. I would love for it to be something awesome and beautiful for the two of them."
