Back in January, I told everyone about the first Gong Cha location coming to Lubbock and everyone is pumped and loved it.

Well, the good news is that one isn't near you because they're opening up a second one with a big deal for their grand opening.

If you've never been there, Gong cha is one of the most recognized bubble tea brands around the world. They have over 1,500 locations around the world and they're growing in the United States, with more than 100 locations now open.

According to their website:

The success of Gong Cha in Taiwan was proof that customers responded favorably to the premium quality tea, products & services offered:

  • Fresh Tea brewed every 4 hours
  • Pearl (bubbles) cooked to perfection every 4 hours
  • Tea sourced from the finest Taiwan tea estates
  • Strict quality control for all ingredients

I'm excited to try a slushie series and green tea. I love bubble teas and the awesome flavor they have. It's clear Gong cha offers a wide range of options and it's definitely needed in that area of the city. I've tried to go there a couple of times, but every time I'm either on the other side of town or they are packed.

So their first location is at 405 Slide Road, but their second location is coming to the South Plains Mall at 6002 Slide Rd., K200, Lubbock, Texas. It will be located in the center court near Pandora and Kay Jewelers.

For their grand opening on June 4th and 5th, they're offering a buy one get one free from their top 10 menu items. You can see below those items.
