Lubbock’s Pheasant Ridge Winery Ranks In The Best 100 In The Country
I've said it before, and I'll say it again forever- Pheasant Ridge Winery is a treasure. Located just north of Lubbock in New Deal, Pheasant Ridge offers seriously delicious, award winning wines. And also lovely afternoons with friends.
And now its officially the #74 ranked winery in the country, according to the Daily Meal. My favorite White on the planet Earth is their 3 Barrels Up, which is a fruity and smooth blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, and Semillon. However, it is their Cabernet that earned them their spot on this particular list.
I cannot recommend enough trying a wine tasting there- you will find your favorite wines. And at $5 to try 6-8 wines, you'll have plenty cash to take home a bottle of your favorite.
Every wine is an "Estate" wine- meaning they are all made 100% from grapes grown on their land- from the South Plains rich, red earth.
Pheasant Ridge is one of only two Texas wineries to make the list- the other is Inwood Estates in Fredricksburg.
