A Lubbock woman claims that on the night of Saturday, September 19th, she was sexually assaulted during a cab ride.

Lubbock Police responded to the 2100 block of 50th Street to reports of a sexual assault at around 10:30 p.m.

KAMC News reports the victim told police she was leaving a hotel and met the suspect at the front desk. She said they both got into the cab and drove off after she told the driver where to go.

Upon arriving at the location, things turned violent, she said. The driver allegedly drove past the spot she asked to be dropped off at and parked in alley instead. The victim told police that the driver began choking her. She kicked him back, and he bit her on the foot, the police report said. The victim was eventually able to break free and flee the vehicle. She called for help shortly after.

The suspect hasn't been arrested or identified.
