Lubbock Woman and Austin Man Killed in Randall County Crash

28-year-old Adam Taulbee of Austin and 28-year-old Laura Almanza of Lubbock were both killed in a crash about 1 mile south of Amarillo at 1:10 a.m. Monday morning.

According to KAMC News, Taulbee was the driver of a tow-truck traveling on FM 1541, and Almanza was the passenger. An 18-wheeler was reportedly backing into a loading dock but crossing 1541 while doing so.

The tow-truck struck the trailer of the 18-wheeler, killing both Taulbee and Almanza.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
