Lubbock Chef to Appear on FOX’s New National Cooking Competition
A new competition called Next Level Chef is coming to FOX, and Lubbock viewers are going to be seeing a very familiar face.
Angie Ragan is a 47-year-old Lubbock native who owns Salt by Angie and will be a contestant. She'll be on the competition with 14 others contestants.
This battle is brand new and hosted by legendary chef Gordon Ramsay. The website says the competition will be a "one-of-a-kind culinary gauntlet" set on a stage that's "over three stories high, each floor contains a stunningly different kitchen."
It looks like there's also a big catch to the competition: "From the glistening top floor to the challenging bottom of the basement, the ingredients will match the environment."
Here's the preview for Next Level Chef:
FOX chose people from all across the country, and one of our own made the cut. Angie, I can't wait to see the competition air on January 2nd, 2022 and see how you do. The winner of the competition gets a $250,000 grand prize and becomes a Next Level Chef.
If you're in Lubbock and want to try Angie's food, check out her website and see what she has to offer. She says she brings luxury and a bit of old school to her food and private catering events.
I've never had her food, but looking at all the pictures definitely makes me want to. Make sure you follow her Facebook page because she does weekly pick ups of different foods each week if you want to check her out before Next Level Chef premieres on Sunday, January 2nd at 7 p.m. CT following the NFL on FOX.
