Lubbock and Hockley Counties Confirm Additional Coronavirus Cases
Early Sunday evening, both Lubbock and Hockley counties confirmed additional Coronavirus cases, within their respective jurisdictions.
Three new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), plus one additional death, were reported in Lubbock County as of 4pm, on Sunday, April 5. The total number of Coronavirus cases in Lubbock County is now 154, with five deaths. 21 Coronavirus cases are now listed as recovered in Lubbock County.
The City of Lubbock Health Department continues to ask the public to continue to follow proper hygiene recommendations and social distancing practices.
Meanwhile, in Hockley County, officials there confirmed its 10th case of Coronavirus on Sunday. The patient is a resident of Levelland, and their age is listed between 50-60 years old. This person is also being hospitalized, after being exposed to a known case, according to KAMC News.
